Parents are encouraged to volunteer their time, talent, and treasures to Lourdes. Volunteers in the elementary perform a wide variety of duties such as helping in the lunchroom, shelving books in the library, correcting papers, listening to student prayers, and helping with art activities. Please contact the elementary principal if you would like to volunteer.
This organization is for all parents of Catholic school students and provides families with a voice in governmental matters that affect Catholic schools. Dues are $3.00 per family and are collected at the beginning of each school year. All parents are strongly encouraged to join this group.
The Lourdes Activities Association supports all of the extracurricular activities for students in grades 6-12 and all levels of the music program. All families with students who participate in any way in activities outside of normal academics are considered "members" and are encouraged to become active in supporting this association. For additional information contact the school.
The Home and School Association is set up to provide a link between the parents of the elementary students and the teachers. This group meets on the third Monday of the month. Regularly scheduled meetings are not held during the summer. The Home and School Association has an annual soup supper in November of each year. Proceeds from this event support a variety of elementary needs, such as technology, playground equipment, classroom learning materials, library books, and teacher assistance funds. Other fundraising projects are also held during the year. All parents are considered members of the Home and School Association and are encouraged to attend all meetings and functions.
