International Food Fair

 

An International Food Fair was held November 20 in the third grade classrooms. Parents were encouraged to send favorite ethnic foods for a tasting party. Students sampled many new and familiar foods. Among these were: tamales (regular and sweet), gelatina, pavlova, cream puffs, eclairs, crescent rolls, lasagna, sushi, hot beef sandwiches, reuben sandwiches, apple dumplings, pretzels, churros, potato pancakes, pumpkin mousse, tres leches, potato soup, and pasta sauce with bread. Students enjoyed many new foods. Many thanks to all who prepared and sent food and especially to Deb Bruggeman, Robin Gay, and Mike Kearney for their help with serving the delicious foods.
