Costume Fun Run

The first annual fun run was scheduled on November 2nd at 8 AM. This run was no ordinary run, but instead the people who ran in it dressed in costume! The event took place in Nebraska City at Lourdes Central Catholic High School, where the run started and finished in the parking lot.
All ages of children and adults signed up to run this 5k race. The event helped raise money for the Lourdes student council. The run and the awards lasted until about 9:30 AM.
The winners of the event were Eric Box in first place with a time of 21minutes and 36 seconds with Jim Thurman second with a time of 22 minutes and 12 seconds. Coming in first for the kids was Lucas Nielson with a time of 27 minutes and 24 seconds. The winners for the best dressed were Brandon Bender, dressed in a red morph suit with a large crown and Tanya Lee as Cat Woman.
