New Photography Club at Lourdes

This year, Mr. Boos and Mr. Lerdahl have organized a Photography Club for our students.

The response has been very positive. Mr. Boos is a veteran with all the settings and adjustments as far as the camera is concerned and Mr. Lerdahl deals primarily with photo editing techniques.

The goal of this organization is twofold. The first is to train photographers to shoot quality images for our yearbook, especially in difficult, low-light conditions that are often encountered. The second goal is to teach students to shoot aesthetically and to apply photo editing techniques, effects and filters. This will create more options for yearbook photos and allow our art department to broaden its scope.

There are currently thirteen active members in the club and everyone will be given shooting assignments throughout the year.  As you can see by this sampling, the results have been very impressive.
